Thursday afternoon, Oct 1, 2015, two men engaged in a fight resulting in one man being stabbed three times. The incident occurred on 1st Ave in Eastman, in the area commonly referred to by residents as “The Net”.
According to a police report, 71 year old Eddie Jackson, AKA “Fast Eddie”, was arrested and charged by Eastman Police with Aggravated Assault on the victim, 53 year old Tommy Battle.
The victim’s condition is not known at this time, but he was transferred to a Macon Hospital on Thursday.
