Morgan Sheffield got an early Birthday Present Saturday night when he took First Place in his class at the 441 Speedway in Dublin.
The Eastman Examiner was able to contact Sheffield’s mother, April Stuckey Moore, this week and she had this to say, ”I don’t know what to say except he’s been racing anything and everything since he was 5. He started motor cross, go carts, and he was points champion when he was barely tall enough to reach the pedals . His daddy and papa have always had him racing something. He lost his papa the end of last year and the win Saturday night really got to him! Sean peacock designed his car and put a picture of his papa on the trunk and he has the racers prayers riding with him at all times! It’s scary, but that’s what he loves! He won the pure stock division this past sat night at 441 speedway in Dublin. Nice early birthday present…mainly just want to tell him how proud we are of him and to wish him a happy 18th Birthday today. He’s got the biggest heart I know of!”
Congratulations to Morgan and Happy Birthday from the staff of the Eastman Examiner.
