At 1:36 pm, a one vehicle accident was reported on 9th Ave near the 341 Bypass. Mary Catherine Pittman was traveling west on 9th when she apparently went off the roadway and flipped the vehicle at least once. Mary Catherine was outside the vehicle but appeared to be in good condition given the circumstances. The vehicle narrowly missed coming to rest in a full of water creek bed. She was transported to the Dodge County ER where her father Buddy Pittman is a nurse. The Georgia State Patrol is investigating the accident.
