Robert Pruitt spoke to the Eastman Lions Club at the December 10th meeting . Lions James Rogers arranged the program and Mr. Pruitt was introduced by Lion Bill Liggin. Mr. Pruitt advised the club that Dynamic Paint Solutions was founded in Dublin in 2005. The company started in a 5,000 sq. ft. building with six employees and had total annual sales of five hundred thousand dollars. The company then moved their operation to a 35,000 sq. ft. building at the Eastman-Dodge County airport area in 2008. Currently the company has expanded into a 50,000 sq. ft. building, employs 65 persons, and has annual sales of 5 million dollars.
Services provided by the company include coating for metal parts for the following reasons: corrosion, impact, abrasion,and chemical resistance, plus coatings for aesthetics. Other services provided are wet and dry processing, non destructive testing, painting and part making.
Customers for these services are mainly the aerospace industry including Gulfstream, Boeing, Lockeed Martin, Bell Helicopter, GE Aviation and Pratt and Whitney. Dynamic Paint Solutions mainly serves customers in the southeast within 400 miles of Eastman. The company feels that their future is bright and hopes to add additional employees and increase annual revenue over the next few years.
